Tides of Passage
Copper tones, rich texture and metallic accents capture shifting energy across the canvas. Light dances over the surface, revealing depth and contrast inspired by the ever-changing movement of the sea.
Held Between Currents
One of my favourite paintings, this work combines layered swirls, soft brushwork and subtle movement. Acting as the bridge between the other two pieces, it creates a graceful transition through quieter textures and flowing composition.
Wind in the Tides
Fluid brushstrokes and lighter layers create a feeling of movement, allowing colour to flow naturally across the canvas. The painting reflects the rhythm of wind and water through elegant, expressive marks.
I chose these pieces to showcase the different techniques I explored on canvas. Each painting demonstrates a unique balance of texture, colour and movement—from metallic highlights and sculptural surfaces to softer brushwork and fluid transitions. Together they reflect my continuing exploration of how calm and energy can coexist within abstract expression.
